    Mel Koe

    Mel Koe is an organizer led by courageous curiosity and a belief in the dignity and self-empowerment we all possess. In the last few years, Mel has organized small business owners towards the passage of paid family medical leave in MN, a pilot project supporting small businesses and workers in Minneapolis, and academic workers around forming a union. Now, Mel trains other organizers in building power with their communities. In her free time, Mel loves cooking and all forms of creating.

    Jeramy Freeman

    Jeramy's professional background includes working for non-profit, startup, and FORTUNE Global 500 organizations in product management, pricing, marketing, and strategy leadership positions.  A firm believer that “to whom much is given, much is required”, he is passionate about improving the quality of life for underserved communities.  He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from North Carolina State University.

    Josephine Kalipeni is a seasoned strategist and social justice executive with over twenty years of experience in the nonprofit sector. An organizer at heart, she brings expertise in fundraising, strategic planning, advocacy, coalition building, and campaign development. Josie is a skilled facilitator, trainer, project manager, and evaluator. A self-described “dream-catcher”—Josie is able to capture a leader’s vision and translate it into strategy, systems, and results.

    Sophia Mitchell is a policy and legal strategist focused on advancing economic justice. Sophia’s work spans research, advocacy, and cross-sector collaboration in non/ profit and government settings. Sophia brings a practical, systems-focused approach to supporting organizations working to address structural barriers and promote dignity.
