In the last few years, Mel has organized small business owners towards the passage of paid family medical leave in MN, a pilot project supporting small businesses and workers in Minneapolis, and academic workers around forming a union. Now, Mel trains other organizers in building power with their communities. In her free time, Mel loves cooking and all forms of creating.

Jeramy's professional background includes working for non-profit, startup, and FORTUNE Global 500 organizations in product management, pricing, marketing, and strategy leadership positions. A firm believer that “to whom much is given, much is required”, he is passionate about improving the quality of life for underserved communities. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from North Carolina State University.
